Nisshin Kako Co., Ltd., Eikou Seika Co., Ltd., and NK Logistate Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Nisshin Kako Group") respect the "International Bill of Human Rights (Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Covenants on Human Rights)" and the International Labour Organization's (ILO) "ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work" in order to realize "a company that brings happiness through food." Furthermore, based on the "UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights," we have established the Nisshin Kako Group Human Rights Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Human Rights Policy"), and we will conduct our business activities in compliance with this policy.

1. Addressing Human Rights Responsibilities

We strive to understand the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct and conduct our activities in accordance with it.

2. Human Rights Issues Related to Business Activities

We recognize the following human rights issues in relation to our business activities:

Discrimination
We respect the human rights of individuals. We do not discriminate based on nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, beliefs, gender, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, political or other opinions, employment status, or any other characteristics protected by laws and regulations in each country and region, nor do we engage in any acts that violate individual dignity.

Harassment
We do not engage in any words or actions that harm others, whether mental or physical, or any form of harassment. Forced Labor and Child Labor: We do not tolerate forced labor or child labor. We recognize that children, women, and migrant workers are among the most marginalized and vulnerable in society. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: We respect the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

Occupational Safety and Health
We confirm the laws and rules regarding workplace safety and health and their implementation, and create a safe and healthy working environment. Working Hours and Wages: We comply with all laws regarding working hours and strive to prevent excessive work by employees. We also strive to realize fair wages that meet living wages, as well as comply with minimum wage laws.

3. Remedial measures

Employees who become aware of or suspect a possible violation of laws, rules, or internal regulations, including human rights policies, can report their concerns to the internal and external consultation and reporting hotlines. The privacy of those who consult or report is protected, and they can choose to remain anonymous if they wish. Furthermore, they will not be subjected to unfair treatment for consulting or reporting. We also provide a grievance mechanism through which external stakeholders can report actual or potential violations of our human rights policy.

4. Education and Training

We provide training and education to all executives and employees to instill our Human Rights Policy throughout the Nisshin Kasei Group and ensure its observance.

5. Ongoing surveys

We will continuously conduct surveys and other measures targeting employees regarding compliance with our Human Rights Policy, and make improvements as necessary.

The above policy was approved by the Boards of Directors of Nisshin Chemical Co., Ltd., Eikoh Seika Co., Ltd., and NK Logistate Co., Ltd. on December 8, 2023.
